Thank the City Council for Cracking Down on Pet Stores and Puppy Mills

Paws up! New York City just enacted a law to protect dogs, cats and pet guardians by banning puppy mills from NYC. Breeders with some of the most egregious violations will not be allowed to sell their animals in NYC. It also requires legitimate stores to spay/neuter and microchip the dogs and cats they do sell, making it much easier to reunite lost pets with their guardians and reduce pet homelessness.

Say "thank you" to the City Council, and encourage them to continue voting for humane legislation such as banning horse carriages.
