The City Council is considering a bill (Intro 1233) to ban circuses from using wild animals like lion, tigers, bears, elephants and kangaroos. Animals are ripped from their mothers at a young age, prodded with bullhooks and tasers to perform and then spend most of their lives in extremely confining cages. Wild animals belong in nature, not in circuses. It's time to end the use of wild animals in circuses in NYC. Sign below now!
