After using 67 chimps for research for years, the New York Blood Center promised to provide lifetime care for the chimps at a sanctuary in Libera. Now they’ve backed out of that agreement and cut all the funding for their care. Subjecting these animals to years of testing and then abandoning them is cruel and unfathomable.
