Do you want to know how you can best help the horses, shelter pets and all NYC animals in 2013? We’ve got TWO trainings in June to teach our amazing and wonderful volunteers just that! Sign up now for Campaign Training to Animal Advocates and learn how we can swing this year's Mayoral and City Council elections.
Why? Because dogs can’t petition. Cats can't vote. And no horse, fish or bunny has ever endorsed a candidate. Only you can make a difference in this year's elections. Come join us on Wednesday, June 5th in Greenwich Village or Monday, June 10th in Midtown West. Sign up for one today!
The 2013 Mayoral and City Council elections are crucial for us to achieve our goal of freeing the carriage horses and making NYC a more humane place for all animals. It’s that simple. We’ve done all we can to educate elected officials – now it’s time to show them our voting power. This election will come down to getting out the animal vote for candidates. We’ve already shown what we can do in the most recent special elections. (Remember when a few of us cat ladies helped Donovan Richards eek out a victory with just 80 votes?)
So come join us - learn how together we can change the lives of animals in our city. If we do nothing, the animals will only be able to count on themselves. You've helped us build this organization from the ground up. Now help us turn NYCLASS into a political force!
We’ll have light refreshments and campaign experts from across the boroughs at these trainings. You'll learn the techniques & tricks of the trade for persuading voters and getting out the vote. So come out this June, and learn everything you need to elect pro-animal people to the City Council.
You are the most integral part of our campaign to elect a humane Mayor of NYC. We hope to see you there.
