Protest for Chimps at MetLife Shareholders Meeting

Please join TheirTurn, NYCLASS, Animals Batallion and Animal Cruelty Exposure Fund for a protest at MetLife.

MetLife, the NY Blood Center's Largest Corporate Donor & Partner, has, for a year, refused to meet with the community or make a public statement about the chimp abandonment crisis. We must inform MetLife's shareholders that a company that boasts about "corporate social responsibility" and "protecting the environment" is complicit in leaving dozens of chimpanzees to starve to death on islands in Liberia and The Ivory Coast.

We are sending letters about the scandal to MetLife's insitutional investors, so some of the shareholder meeting attendees won't be surprised to see us.
