Three years ago this week, Charlie the carriage horse dropped dead on 54th street with a fractured tooth and an ulcerated stomach. So we'll be protesting right outside the main City Council office building to remind our City Council Members of their commitment to ban horse carriages, and to remind them how the carriage industry has been mistreating the horses.
