Protest New York Blood Center Board Member for Abandoning Chimps

In an article on ABC News posted on September 30th, NYBC indicates that it has no plans to reinstate the funding: "In a time when NYBC is confronting new threats to our blood supply like Babesia and the Zika virus, not to mention terrorism and natural disasters, we could not divert NYBC's resources indefinitely from our mission." NYBC also attempts to shift the blame for the abandoned chimp crisis to the Liberian government and animal protection groups. Please join Animals Battalion, NYCLASS and TheirTurn to protest NYBC at the home of Michael Hodin, one of the NYBC board members.
