Please join Animals Battalion, NYCLASS and TheirTurn for a protest at MetLife during the lunch hour rush on Wednesday, August 10th, at noon. As a company that bankrolls the NY Blood Center, MetLife has the power to end the chimpanzee abandonment crisis, yet the company remains silent - and complicit in NYBC's atrocities. During our last protest (8/3), many people in the buildings around MetLife came down to complain about the noise. One man was so angry that he had to be restrained by the police. So, if MetLife doesn't take action because it's the ethical thing to do, then maybe they will do so simply to silence us. MetLife has a choice. It can continue to ignore us while we get louder and louder, or it can make us go away by demanding that NYBC provide food for the chimps.
