NYCLASS, the leading New York animal rights organization pushing to ban the unsafe and inhumane horse carriage industry, is kicking off a campaign that urges tourists to boycott Central Park horse carriages this summer. A new website available beginning on Friday encourages visitors to avoid the dangerous horse carriages alongside graphic images of carriage accidents and serious injuries suffered by passengers. 

NYCLASS supporters will also picket and hand out leaflets to visitors on Central Park South where the carriage horses line up, urging tourists not to ride the carriages.
