Scary news. Another NYC carriage horse named Pumpkin was spooked on the street yesterday and ran into a taxicab door. Luckily, no one was hurt — this time.
Once again, we’ve seen how dangerous having easily frightened carriage horses on the streets of New York is. It’s time we end this. These majestic creatures need to be in green fields, not traffic — and we have a chance to free them if the City Council would heed this warning and pass legislation banning the carriage horse industry.
