ASPCA NY Voices for Animals Day 2016

This is a great opportunity to visit with other animal lovers and speak directly with your state legislators about passing strong laws for animals in 2016. On ASPCA Voices for Animals Day, conversations will focus on priority legislation including measures to provide relief to animal control agencies and taxpayers during animal cruelty cases, cross-reporting of child abuse and animal cruelty, banning discriminatory breed-specific policies and legislation to increase adoption opportunities for homeless animals.

Don’t worry if you’ve never lobbied for animals before: In the coming weeks, registrants will receive information about a pre-event webinar that will provide you with lobbying tips and all the information you’ll need to have a successful day at the Capitol.

ASPCA will provide lunch and printed materials for your legislative meetings. You’ll have plenty of time to network with fellow attendees and representatives from the ASPCA. Don’t miss out on this exciting day!
