Trade You A Carriage Ride

Valentine’s Day is thought to be the most romantic day of the year, when couples go out and celebrate with chocolates, flowers, and fancy dinners. All too often, those dinners end with an open carriage horse ride through Central Park. Valentine’s Day is one of the roughest days of the year for New York’s carriage horses.

Be Our Valentine!

The cold, often snowy nights with trip after trip takes a toll on a horse in the best of conditions, and we know that New York City’s carriage horses hardly get the best. So tonight, we invite you to show your love for the horses by finding them Valentines:

Help us spread the word about our membership campaign! Click here to use our easy Tell A Friend tool!

We know you support our efforts and the horses, and growing our membership number is a small way for us to show New York City‘s elected officials this year that the animals of our city have voices – ours!

And the best place to start is with the friends and family of our current members – YOU! Invite your friends to join today!

It might seem like a small thing now, but by inviting your friends, you are helping us show our numbers in New York – and send a message to this year’s NYC candidates: Support animal rights or be voted out of office! That’s crucial to helping us prevent the horses from having to go through any more Valentine’s Days than they absolutely have to.

Be the difference in this fight and show your love to the carriage horses. And thanks for being ours on Valentine’s Day!
