Organize for Mr. Ed

Our 2013 goal is to show the government of New York City that the horses have voices in the people, and that those people VOTE!

2013 presents a once in a decade opportunity to change the face of the electorate and change the course of how we treat our non-human residents with the upcoming elections for Mayor and 33 Council Members.

Next month, we’re holding our Winter Organizing Meetings throughout the city to detail our plan and put all of us to work to make this goal of a more humane city a reality, and we need YOU to be a part. Find the meeting nearest you or the one that works best for your schedule and click to RSVP today:

Feb 5 – Bronx, 6:30 PM, Riverdale

Feb 6 – Midtown East, 6:30 PM

Feb 7 – Downtown Manhattan, 6:30 PM, Tribeca

Feb 10 – Queens, 3:00 PM, Bayside

Feb 11 - Brooklyn, 6:30 PM, Downtown

Feb 12 - Upper West Side, 6:30 PM

Feb 17 - Staten Island, 3:00 PM, Silver Lake

During each of these meetings, we will brief everyone on recent developments, introduce our strategy and plan to our activists and lay the foundation to reach our goals. You’ll also get the chance to meet other Horse Heroes in your neighborhood!

The plan we are going to enact has never been done before in New York, especially not by animal rights activists. It will ensure that every elected official is aware of our agenda and that we stand between them and victory at the ballot box. Electing a horse-friendly government is crucial to our overall success.

2012 was a year of victories that have set us up for our once in a decade opportunity this year.  Come be a part of our efforts! Click on the borough meeting above nearest you and RSVP today! Thank you for your support of NYCLASS this year and welcome to 2013 – the year bound to be historic for our goal of making New York safer and more livable for animals.
