Columbus Circle Carriage Horse Collision - Call Your City Council Member Now!

How many people and horses have to be injured (or worse) before City Council takes action? These incidents continue to serve as a reminder of why we cannot allow for carriage horses to work these harsh NYC streets any longer.
It's time for us to push the City Council to act. on Intro 86A. Please make a POLITE phone call the City Council members below and ask them to support Intro 86A - legislation that will replace the carriage horses with a humane alternative, the electric vintage "Horseless Carriage" cars.
Step One: SELECT A COUNCIL MEMBER IN YOUR BOROUGH & MAKE A POLITE CALL USING THE SCRIPT BELOW. Better yet, call multiple Council Members.

SUGGESTED SCRIPT: Hello, my name is ________________. I'm calling because there was another carriage horse accident in midtown Manhattan rush hour traffic on August 16th when a carriage horse spooked and bolted, injuring itself, the carriage driver and two passengers. This is the 13th accident in the past year. I'm calling to urge the Council Member to to become a co-sponsor of Intro 86A. This bill would replace horse carriages with antique replica electric cars and humanely retire the horses to sanctuaries. Thank you.
Step Two: REPORT BACK
